The Sutherland is an attractive hotel in the centre of Newquay, a few minutes walk from the pubs, clubs, shops and principle beaches.
On the ground floor is the free-house, the Top of the Town, serving a wide variety of draft and bottled beers, cask ale, spirits and bottled drinks. It has a pool table, fruit machines and 3 dart-boards and a large patio area overlooking Newquay Bay.
On the first floor is a comfortably furnished lounge with Residents Bars where you can drink until dawn (at the Barman’s discretion). If you can focus your eyes, once again there is a great view of the sea.
The bedrooms are well appointed with TV, tea/coffee facilities, central heating and mostly en-suite. There is no curfew and if you can’t remember the Front Door Code the Barman can let you in! After you’ve had a couple of hours sleep, breakfast is served in the spacious Dining Room.
