Kite Buggying: More Information

Use the wind to get up to 35kph in a three-wheeled kite buggy. Once you have mastered Power Kiting a lesson in one of these machines is the next step. You can cruise through the shallows leaving a wake of sea spray and sand and slide round corners in huge ´hand brake turn´ power slides.

You can learn to buggy pretty quickly if you already have Power Kite skills, but don´t worry if you haven´t, as you can do Power Kite lesson before your Buggy lesson to get you up to speed.

This is a great group activity.

Nitro
An intensive course for those with little or no traction kiting experience, we take you through our entry-level traction kite lesson to enable you to master flying skills, then you progress onto either the landboard or buggy lesson – the choice is yours. There is no faster way to learn your chosen traction kite sport – you’ll be racing down the beach in no time.

An entry-level lesson to introduce you to the exhilaration of buggying. You’ll master the basics, such as choosing a safe site, starting and stopping, cruising across the wind, gybing and emergency procedures…everything you need to enable you to safely buggy by yourself. NB A kite course must be completed first.

2 hr lesson.
Mobius uses a variety of locations to suit the different wind directions.
The 2 hour Kite buggying course is aimed at those with basic flying skills.

The 4 hour Kite buggying course is designed to take you from zero to hero! There are no prerequisites but any background in kite flying, windsurfing or sailing will help you progress quicker.
