Explore South West has been running and organising fishing trips and holidays for the last 3 years. We have sourced the best local skippers and boats, to give you the best equipment and tuition and most importantly they know where to find the fish! You have a choice of trips, from 2hr Mackerel trips to 8 hr wreck fishing trips. If you´re feeling particularly brave why not try your hand at a bit of shark fishing? All sharks are tagged and released, with the largest Porbeagles getting up to 400lbs, so it´s not for the faint hearted!

These fishing trips are great fun, however, the weather does play a big part! If you know you get seasick then a 2 hour Mackerel trip or 4 hour Bass trip would be better for you. It´s worth choosing a back up activity in case of bad weather. You will need to bring waterproof clothing and if you want to bring back your catch, bring something to take it home in, as loose fish are definitely not allowed in the minibuses!
