About Us

We are a bunch of surfers, kitesurfers, beach rangers, ex-teachers, web designers, environmentalists and travelers.  We have all lived in North Cornwall for over 10 years. During this time we have travelled to far flung corners of the Earth in search of the perfect spot for...well, life I guess.  Travelling was done under the guise of finding picture perfect surf, or the whitest sand and the most iridescent sea, but what we were really looking for is somewhere we would be happiest. 

The spark that clarified my mind, was that out of the hundreds of people I met travelling, I was the only one actually looking forward to going home, to Cornwall.  That's not to say I didn't enjoy picking Mangos for breakfast in Fiji and living like a king in the Dominican Republic for peanuts, but Cornwall always seemed to be calling. 

It seems to be a familiar story with all of us ex-transients who have searched the world, and decided that the best of it, is on our doorstep.  That's why Cornwall, and that's why we are continuously trying to showcase Cornwall to the rest of the U.K.  I guess that it is a way of boasting, showing off that we live here permanently, and you, have to go home.
